Frequently asked questions

What items do Donate It collect?

We collect clothing, shoes, bags, manchester, homewares, kitchenware, toys, books, DVDs, CDs, console games, gaming accessories, battery-operated devices, electrical new in box, craft items and jewellery and collectables.


As long as it’s all in good condition and can be resold by charities, we will collect it.

What items are Donate It unable to collect?

Unfortunately, we are unable to collect furniture, electrical (unless new in box), large sporting equipment, children’s pop up tents, bean bags (unless new in packaging), used pillows, inflatable pool toys (unless new in box) nursery items (cots, cot mattress, bassinets, change tables, walkers and bouncers), car seats, bike helmets, motor bike helmets, mattresses, and dirty, ripped, stained or broken items. 

What conditions do items need to be in to donate?

If you would give it to a mate, then give it to a Donate It.
Please make sure your items are in good sellable condition.
Please no broken or damaged items or toys missing pieces.
Charity retailers love items that are in good condition and can simply be priced and put out for sale. Most charity retailers do not fix or repair items.
